Well - I have chosen to wear flip flops the past couple of weeks - I guess it was kind of wishful thinking that if I thought warm thoughts it would be warm... didn't work - It snowed yesterday and it is snowing now! Can you tell I am not a happy camper....
So yesterday - I put on my flip flops as the kids and I were getting ready to go out to run some errands - and they saw me put flip flops on - I think they were feeling a little jipped that they had to put actual socks and shoes on --- so up the stairs they went to put their shoes on and they both came down with flip flops! I just laughed at heir choice of shoes --- and said - you can wear those but your feet are going to freeze....
We got in the car and were almost to where we were going - and Brayden asks
Mom - why are we wearing flip flops?!

Oh Chris, I'm sorry about the snow! I tried to boycott winter every year that I lived in Utah. I'm absolutely positive that people were thinking "oh that dumb blonde girl from California, doesn't she know it's snowing?" Seriously, I wear flip flops or sandals nearly every day of the year!! Shoes just don't work for me.
Too cute! I love the toesies. Just come visit and you can wear your flip flops ALL THE TIME!
Love the picture! Positive thinking, keep it up, but I don't think it's working!
I love it.....they look great with the white background, and with matching snow jackets. Perfect!!
aahaaha.. you're adorable best friends are so funny! i love the little ones. it's precious how much fun you have with them. :
Chris, I think our boycott on snow here finally worked. Spring has sprung and almost all the snow is gone from our backyard. I can even see some green grass! Yipee! I'm sorry, now it sounds like I'm bragging. By the way, where do you get your backrounds for your blog. They are always so cute.
I'm with you on it completely Chris. I'm boycotting it too. NO MORE! We made Taj where his shorts Easter outfit to church last week even though there were big flakes falling everywhere. Does this really classify as boycotting or just being bad parents??
SO I'm concerned that basically I'm missing you all together when you come. I get home Tuesday night the 15th!
I guess now we know what Spring Fever is really all about. I hope it melts really fast!
