We have really enjoyed our 1st few weeks here in Washington -
there is so much to do and see - yesterday we went

Plummeting 620 feet from its
origins on Larch Mountain,
Multnomah Falls is the second highest year-round
waterfall in the United States.
Jeb decided he was going o be adventurous yesterday -
so he loaded us all up into the car - without telling us where we were going -
and a while later ended up here at this beautiful waterfall! -
We hiked a mile and a half up - I know that doesn't sound far -
but with 2 small kids and the inclining switchbacks -
and with how hot it was yesterday - that mile and a half was quite the trek ---
but well worth it - because it was a beautiful place to be!
Thanks Jeb for such a fun surprise family outing!
Kylie got a blister on her foot about 15 minutes into the walk -
and had to carried up the mountain -- poor Jeb --
I guess now I know what our next shopping trip is going
something he is allowed to climb on!
Brayden was the only one of us brave enough to get right on the edge --
Jeb & I both are pretty afraid of heights -- I got a little closer than Jeb -
I love this shot of the kids - They were so proud of themselves
for making it to the top of the waterfall.
