Ahhh - Tis the season -- We've had an eventful 1st week of December -- Monday - the kiddos went back to school after quite a few rambunctious days off - whew! I think they forgot how to exist under the same roof together with driving each other or their mother CrAzy at ALL times!!! So anyway - after I sent the kids off to school - I ran to the Buckle to help Jeb out for a little while... always fun (: Love workin' with My Jeb!
Tuesday was the first day I had to be home By myself in a long time - as I had worked with Jeb for quite a few weeks in a row while one of his employees were out of town & then with the kids being home for the week of Thanksgiving -- So with the new found freedom of Tuesday - I of coarse decided to whip out the sewing machine & start some projects -- Hence the Crayon Roll Give away -- I love crayon rolls!
Wednesday was my lazy day -- that was fun (:
Thursday was full of errands - & in the evening The kids and I attempted to go and help at an event at church called the "Festival of Nativities" Which is really neat - and beautiful! Except - if you recall I said I brought the Kids with me to "help" at the event -- I really should have gotten a babysitter for them - they got bored after about a hour and a half of the 3 hour shift I had committed to help for -- poor kiddos -- and--- AND I had Set my coat behind a pretty life like and large manger scene they had set up in the primary room for the children to dress up and pose in front of -- and at some point we think some child ran behind there and shuffled things around landing my coat near a back light also behind the manger -- anyway - can you see where this is going -- yep - back light + coat = fire -- well I wasn't there in the room when it happened - but I don't think it set fire as much as just melted a large hole right through my cute brown coat.... I felt so bad -- It completely stunk the place up -- & to think what could have happened -- we could have burned the church down -- yieeesh! Crazy right -why do these things always happen to me??? haha -

Friday I set off bright and early at 8am to try to get my errands done early - only to get out in 30 degree weather -- brrr - and Icy roads! - I thought I had left that cold business in Idaho - Guess not (: haha - I stopped first to get my Oil Changed in my Tahoe hoping that would end the quirks that are starting to show up on my poor 10 year old car - it is starting to get sick -- boo -- any way only to find that some creature had decided to crawl up in and build a nest in my air filter - causing a few of the said quirks -- haha - they showed me the filter too - It was disgusting! yuck I mean we are talking a nest the size of my head in my air filter - gross right -- what in the world did that! I miss my garage! - and again why do these things happen to me --
Well next week promises to be just as busy as this one -- bring on the start of the Christmas parties in the near future for the Stokes Family --- It's good though -- My decorations are out in the house with yummy candles burning -- and hot soups and cocoas have been made making it feel like "cWismas time is here" in full force -- I love all the things that make December such a fun time of year!!
